I’m Paul Bryan a hairdresser and founder of the haircare brand StaticJam. Growing up, I spent my free time in my Mum’s salon – I saw it as my playground, and the passion and love for hair stayed with me. So much so, I became an international hairdresser working in world class salons.
Being a hairdresser, I understand that great performing hair isn’t solely down to cut and colour, it’s about the products used daily. I’ve spent a lifetime listening to clients talking about their hair, and a frustration that came up persistently was static, frizz and flyaways – conditions that ruined the best of haircuts. As a stylist, I have the skills to create hair that looks and feels incredible in the chair, but I had a desire to develop products that would give my clients the same feel good results at home. This is why I became immersed in research and product development, working alongside a ‘static scientist’ to create a haircare range that helps banish static, frizz and flayways, leaving hair super smooth, shiny and tangle-free.
